Diaphragm seal systems are used to protect the pressure measuring instrument from aggressive, adhesive, crystallising, corrosive, highly viscous, environmentally hazardous or toxic media. The diaphragm made of stainless steel provides for the separation from the medium.

WIKA diaphragm seals, mounted with pressure gauges, process transmitters, pressure switches etc., are valued for the most difficult of measuring tasks.

Wika Differential Pressure Gauge In differential pressure gauges, different pressure elements and tube forms are used (diaphragm element, capsule element, Bourdon tube, etc.). This enables scale ranges of 0 ... 0.5 mbar up to 0 ... 1,000 bar to be covered, with a very high single and dual-sided and also bidirectional overload safety up to 400 bar.

Bourdon tubes are a popular pressure gauge used to measure the gauge pressure of liquids and gases. Gauge pressure is the pressure of a fluid media relative to the atmospheric pressure. Bourdon tube pressure gauges are mechanical. They do not use an electrical signal to work.
